The annual Light Up Chinatown! festival returns to celebrate the neighbourhood's rich history and vibrant local business community. Taking place on Columbia Street, the event features a packed line-up of entertainment including the Jin Wah Chinese Opera, Goh Ballet, and live music from Marie Hui. Foodies can enjoy special features from Top Chef Canada's Deseree Lo and local favourites like Chinatown BBQ and Beaucoup Bakery. Families will love the Community Kids Zone with face painting and crafts, as well as the Passport Program scavenger hunt. It is a fantastic way to support local shops while experiencing one of Vancouver's most beloved cultural festivals.
