About this event

The Canine Library returns to John Hendry Park for a relaxing afternoon of poetry and pets. Participants can select poetry books from the Vancouver Public Library collection and share a reading session with a certified therapy dog. This event is located behind the Trout Lake Community Centre along the eastern path. It is a free, family-friendly activity designed to promote literacy and social connection in a natural setting. All ages are welcome to join this peaceful outdoor experience.
