The Shipyards outdoor skate plaza offers free daily skating on a massive 12,000 square foot ice rink. Located in North Vancouver, the venue provides free helmets and skate aids to help everyone enjoy the ice. It is set against a beautiful backdrop of downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains. The rink is open daily from noon until 8 pm until the end of March. It is a casual, drop-in friendly spot perfect for a budget-friendly afternoon.
