About this event
The Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club invites the public to its annual open house in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Park. Established in 1912, this is the city's oldest lawn bowling club and offers a beautiful setting for trying a new sport. All skill levels are welcome to drop in and learn the basics of the game from experienced members. To protect the professional bowling green, participants are required to wear flat-soled shoes. It is a wonderful, free opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and engage with a friendly local community.
