Theatresports is Vancouver's iconic live comedy institution, running for over 45 years. Two teams of highly skilled improvisers compete in a series of fast-paced challenges, vying for the laughs and high scores of audience judges. Each 90-minute show is unique, built entirely from audience suggestions in a high-energy and good-natured atmosphere. Performances take place twice nightly on Fridays and Saturdays, making it a staple of the Granville Island nightlife. While accessible to many, the humor is generally best suited for teens and older audiences.
