Bill Reid Gallery — Free Admission Day

The Bill Reid Gallery is the only public gallery in Canada dedicated to the contemporary Indigenous Art of the Northwest Coast. On the first Friday of every month, the gallery opens its doors for free from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. to encourage community access to culture and education. Visitors can explore the Simon Fraser University Bill Reid Collection and various rotating special exhibitions. The gallery also hosts workshops and panel discussions that highlight Indigenous perspectives. It is a fantastic opportunity for residents and tourists to engage with important local art history.
